17 stone 3 pounds, a three pound loss for the week. I am delighted with that loss as the week included a Bank Holiday. I am a creature of habit and three days when my boys were home and no opportunity to get down the gym over the weekend. I have to admit to having an ice cream cone yesterday and boy did it taste nice. The items I have given up are becoming easier to do without, as they are no longer part of my life. The habit of eating them has been replaced with using worry beads. My youngest son still offers me sweets but I will give him the benefit of the doubt in that he is generous and not trying to be cruel to dad. I don’t think he understands dieting.
This week marks the first stone lost so I am now one third of the way through my diet. Once I have lost three stone I shall allow myself more treats but keep up the exercise. I am still using my worry beads mostly in the evening which is when traditionally I would have eaten or drunk high calorific items. I am hoping that I will be less reliant on using them as I still think of the “naughties” I have replaced.
