17st 13lb – No change. What a disappointment however the “no change” does not reflect the week I have had. Not only had I continued to have the ear infection but also an old ankle injury meant I was sedentary all week so dieting has been an almost impossible task. I have also continued my unblemished dieting record of not touching a biscuit, any alcohol or a sweet replacing them with using my worry beads. I feel particularly good about the sweets as both my boys had a large amount of chocolate for Easter. They were both generous in repeatedly offering me some of their stash and each time I refused, stating I was dieting.
Last week I reported that it was probably 90% will power and 10% worry beads that helped with my dieting but this week I found myself grabbing for my worry beads with increasing frequency. I would upgrade their influence to 30% this week as it has been really tough.
I think I have the right amount of pain relief and anti-inflammatory drugs now and I am going to start at a new gym. I would like to think that however strong my will power with nothing being done to burn off calories I was always going to have a tough time losing anything this week.
So more of the same will power and worry bead use, but I am off to the gym to burn some calories.
