17 stone 2 pounds still, no change – Whilst I could be disappointed with this I am surprisingly not. I am seven weeks into my diet and I am still managing to not eat sweets, biscuits or drink alcohol substituting them with use of my worry beads. It was another tough week, a low point being I fancied a Mars bar after seeing the advert on TV. I don’t even like Mars bars normally but I could imagine what it would be like to eat one. I got through it with playing with my worry beads and it soon passed. What I am happy about is that I am settling into a new life style that includes my exercise and not eating and drinking the bad things. It is surprising how changing routine can make a diet successful and I am hoping a new way of life so I don’t put it back on again.
Many of us can diet with a concerted effort for a couple of months but the real success is if you can change your habits from bad things to good things that keeps the weight off and for me feeling fitter. Worry beads are a great habit to replace bad eating habits. Looking back at my losses for each week I do seem to lose more every fortnight instead of each week so I shall look forward to a good loss next week.
Whilst writing I would remind you that having a treat can help with a diet. I have an ice cream cone on a Sunday afternoon and it tasted so much more delicious as I know I have been good all week and have my weigh in the next morning.
